UGG gives new life to textile waste for a more sustainable shoe

The classic Ultra Mini Relmagined model has been redesigned by UGG in a circular way using textile scraps. The upper, featuring a patchwork design, is made from suede and sheepskin, sourced from surplus shoe material during production and sourced from Leather Working Group certified tanneries.
The lining and sockliner are made of 80% recycled wool and 20% TENCELâ„¢Lyocell, a fiber derived from controlled or certified wood sources using a closed loop production process, and are supported by recycled polyester. The outsole is made of bio-based EVA, obtained from sugar cane, a rapidly renewable material. Lastly, the textile binding is made of 100% recycled polyester fibres.
