Valentino has launched a new shoe collection called Open for a Change. Two iconic footwear styles have been redesigned with a view to sustainable innovation, using bio-based and recycled materials.
A material derived from viscose and bio-based polyurethane, obtained from corn-derived polyols, has been used as an alternative to animal skin. The sole is made of partially recycled rubber.
