Telepass, closed loop approach

On the occasion of European Mobility Week, an initiative promoted by the European Commission to raise awareness among local governments and citizens about the importance of sustainable urban mobility, the company Telepass presented its new “green” Telepass device.
The device, which reflects the company’s choices in favor of environmental protection and circular economy, is made from materials and components recovered from old, discarded appliances.
The packaging is made entirely of recycled cardboard, and the instruction manual is no longer paper, but can be downloaded and read on one’s smartphone by framing a QR code.
This is a first step toward making an almost entirely sustainable device, in which even the outer shell will be made of recycled plastic, the result of recovering shells that are no longer used.
