Shop interior cladding in recycled material

Ace&Tate, Dutch eyewear manufacturer and retailer, to reinforce the message of its commitment to a sustainable business model, has set up a new store in Anversa with a 100% recycled materials for coating.
These are terrazzo effect panels, made of recycled HDPE-LDPE from post-production cutoffs from the plastics industry, combined with local household waste.
The colored plastic chips were selected by a collection and recycling company that uses an infrared scanner to separate the waste, then sorted by color to create attractive color combinations. This circular material can be easily cut, milled, drilled, threaded, sanded, chamfered or screwed.
The panels have been used as cladding for walls, arches, shelves and counters of shop.
