Portable charger made of recycled plastics and repurposed batteries

A 12,000 mAh portable charger made of recycled materials, designed by a design studio specializing in converting plastic waste, which is not part of the recycling process, into second raw materials to create new products.
The external structure is made of 100% recycled LDPE, made from flexible plastic waste such as plastic bags, bubble wrap and pallet wrap, which are not accepted into the UK councils for recycling waste stream.
The beating heart of the product consists of repurposed battery cells, obtained from local manufacturers and battery suppliers who are obliged to dispose of them together with post-consumer batteries due to compliance, printing errors or irregularities.
All cells used are selected and tested with care to ensure product performance.
The portable charger components are designed to be modular and easily disassembled to facilitate a future end-of-life recycling process.
