OVS measures the environmental impact of its garments

OVS has developed a project to measure the impact of its clothing on the environment, with the aim of improving material choices and making consumers more aware.
Three main aspects were analyzed: quantity of water used in the production of the raw material and the garment, quantity of CO2 emitted and the facility to recycle the garment at the end of its life.
In some cases, where possible, resource savings compared to a conventionally produced garment were highlighted.
OVS’s sustainability strategy has highlighted the need to measure and publish the environmental impact of individual products to involve consumers in this process.
