Nike informs consumers about its sustainable products

Nike has long since committed to a journey towards sustainability with the “Move to Zero” project as its mission to contribute to the goal of zero carbon and zero waste.
The first steps have seen the material aspect of the products as the main protagonist, developing materials through a process of internal circular economy and using a selection of sustainable materials by renewable and recycled sources.
Thanks to the experience gained, the well-known brand has launched a new program that involves Nike athletes and consumers at the first hand, through one of the main communication channels such as the company’s website nike.com. Through targeted actions, educational content has been integrated to raise awareness of market demand, marking clothing consisting of at least 50% sustainable materials in terms of fabric weight with a dedicated logo. Within each product sheet, a space has been dedicated to describing the production process, the choice of materials and the consequent environmental value.
By involving the user through inclusive and transparent communication, Nike aims to bring to the attention of consumers the importance of making sustainable choices, making them more conscious during the purchase phase.
