Ikea, comes the bio-plastics

Ikea, the world’s largest company of furniture and home accessories, has always been careful to undertake strategies of circular economy. It promotes the use of circular materials and their recycling at the end of their life, supports disassembly and ensures a small footprint during transport.
Ikea has just presented a new collection of PLA crockery. This is a renewable starch-based plastic, with which 100% recyclable plates and cups have been made.
The new products, as well as all other articles suitable for contact with food, are BPA free.
