It is called The Big Bang Unico Nespresso Origin, the first watch result of the partnership between Hublot and Nespresso designed to enhance the funds and capsules of Nespresso coffee that are recovered.
The recycled aluminum obtained from the capsules become the watch case, bezel, crown and pushers.
Recycled coffee grounds, on the other hand, are transformed into straps, available in a rubber version and a second Velcro fabric version. For the fabric strap, Hublot has collaborated with one of Nespresso’s partners who use recycled coffee grounds to produce a fabric.
This project is aligns with Nespresso’s commitment to continue its transition to a circular business model by giving a second life to its products that have reached the end of their lives.
