The Contardi lighting design company, in collaboration with the designer Adam D. Tihnany, have produced among its collection, the lamp Air made of recycled acrylic.
The material used is made of 100% post-industrial and post-consumer recycled PMMA made from melting end-of-life products and industrial waste.
The recycled material, if it is correctly recovered and sent to the appropriate treatment system, could be recycled again keeping the same quality in optical, mechanical and technical terms.
The lamp has intricate laser cuts on the acrylic sheets and features dual-emission light, from above and below.
