A Swiss company has come up with a new idea for coffee capsules made entirely of coffee, eliminating the aluminium or plastic capsule used conventionally. It consists of a ball of pressed coffee protected by a thin film made from bio-based materials, 100% compostable. The strategy of the producing company aimed at the elimination of single-use capsules and the consequent reduction of geenrated waste.
