To support and guide designers in the application of eco-design strategies for the furniture industry, circular design guidelines were created as a tool to be used internally within the company. The guidelines have been structured in ten different sections including: materials, strategies, life cycle, end-of-life scenarios, measurement, legislation, designs, disassembly and repair. To facilitate designers in the use of the guidelines, interactive sections have been provided where through graphs and diagrams it is possible to verify the correct application of circularity strategies.
Furthermore, the guidelines are designed to be periodically updated with international reference projects and with respect to the evolution of the regulatory framework.
