Natural latex and cotton artificial leatherette

Natural latex and cotton artificial leatherette
Biomaterial made from natural latex and cotton, it is a biodegradable, plastic-free, and recyclable product. Latex is extracted from the rubber tree, subjected to analysis to assure its quality and mixed with a nontoxic pigment that penetrates and binds to the material to grant it the coloring. Finally, the latex formulation is poured and spread over a cotton fabric backing. Its laminated rubber surface is waterproof and has a look and feel similar to animal leather. Available in a variety of colors, textures and thicknesses, it finds use in making furniture and fashion accessories.
