Description: Polycarbonate. Thermoplastic material of polyester family. The second raw material is mainly obtained from the recycling of processing scraps and production wastes (post-industrial), vehicles accessories and durable goods components (post-consumer). Experiments have shown that recycled PC has physical characteristics very similar to virgin PC, but at the expense of aesthetic properties (transparency) which are considerably worse. Recycled SAN can be added to PC in the recycle phase in order to improve hardness and transparency qualities.
