Material made of a pulp mixture derived from the poo fibres from elephants, cows, horses, donkeys and buffalos.
All the animals that generate the poo required for the process are herbivores and have highly fibrous diets of bamboo, sugar cane, grasses, banana trees, leaves, twigs and fruits.
Furthermore they possess somewhat inefficient digestive systems that don’t completely digest and breakdown all the fibers that they eat. This results in a significant amount of fibers remaining intact when these animals poop.
Fibers are collected, then boiled and cleaned, and mixed together with cellulose came from corn stalks, pineapple husks, hay, banana tree trunks and mulberry bark.
The process is basically the same as the handmade process but automated. The material is used in the manufacture of products for the paper industry.
