Salvatore Ferragamo presents the sustainable version of its iconic bag

Salvatore Ferragamo reinterprets the iconic Top Handle bag, reflecting its growing commitment to consolidating its sustainability strategy, based on Italian craftsmanship and respect for the environment.
The new limited edition bag has been made from certified cork coupled with flax inner lining, biodegradable renewable source materials.
While the zipper tape and thread are both made from certified recycled polyester.
Through skilled craftsmen’s hands, the cork strips are woven together until the bag is made and shaped, which is finally processed with a water-based color treatment.
The bag has also obtained the Product carbon footprint certification, which has made it possible to measure the emissions generated by its production and offset them, through adhesion to initiatives aimed at combating the climate crisis.
