Rugs made of circular materials by Patricia Urquiola

New design proposals, created by Patricia Urquiola and made of recycled wool felt, were presented at Salone del Mobile in Milan 2019.
The collection consists of three rugs with different patterns and a pouf, they are made of from renewable sources and circular material.
The Spanish designer wanted to achieve a manufacturing technique that would allow her to recycle discarded materials. The result is an agglomeration of wool of different colors and densities of stone-like appearance, novel and transgressive.
Protecting traditional craft techniques all the product are entirely sewn by hand.
