Following the success of its 2023 collection, Emirates airline is launching a new series of handmade suitcases and travel bags made from recycled materials sourced from repurposed aircraft. The materials used to create the collection come from the Emirates A380 and Boeing 777 and come from the aluminium headrests, the leather seats in First and Business Class, and the sofas in the A380’s onboard lounge. In some products, aircraft seat belts are used instead of straps.
The products are already on sale in the official store, with proceeds going to the Emirates Airline Foundation, which is involved in humanitarian projects.
