From worn firefighter suits and bulletproof vests you get sweaters

A sweater obtained thanks to the desire to recover technical and high-performance materials by diverting them from the landfill, in particular, these are worn out firefighter suits and old bulletproof vests no more usable. The protective equipment consists of materials such as meta-aramid and para-aramid, generally used in aerospace and military applications.
The sweater is made of 70% recycled meta-aramide recovered from firefighter suits, which is very flame resistant and has high thermal properties.
The remaining 30% in recycled para-aramide obtained from bulletproof vests, characterized by high tensile strength.
The production process involves the shredding of the safety devices in order to extract all the fibers they contain. These are mixed and spun to create the new circular material, which is then sewn. The end result is a sweater that is warm, soft, durable and flame retardant.
