HERALUCE OBTAINS MATERIAL BALANCE CERTIFICATION ON THE BASIS OF THE MATREC SPECIFICATION

Hera Luce, the public lighting management company of the Hera Group, has introduced a system for measuring the circularity of environmental performance in a scientific and concrete manner.
In collaboration with Bureau Veritas, it has obtained the certification of its material balance, drawn up in accordance with the Technical Specification created by Matrec srl and called “Specification for the development of a management system for the implementation of material balance, aimed at the efficient use of resources and the measurement of circular economy, related to an organisation or product or service or project“.
The objective of Hera Luce is to report the material balance of the requalification and maintenance activities of public lighting plants, evaluating the quantity and type of material resources taken, used and reintroduced into the system to quantify the circularity of the projects.
