Recycled cotton material

Recycled cotton material
Material made of recycled cotton, obtained by gently recovering worn-out clothes and denim. The clothes are shredded, de-buttoned, de-zipped, de-colored and turned into a slurry. Contaminants like polyester are taken out. What remains is biodegradable organic polymer made of 100% cellulose. The slurry is dried to produce sheets. which are then processed into natural textile fibers. It is used in the manufacture of clothing.
