Material obtained from mushrooms

Material obtained from mushrooms
Material made of chitosan, a substance extracted from mushrooms, combined with other natural ingredients and pigments. The special formulation is able to reproduce any skin texture and colour. The formulated material is cast using a roll-to-roll production process to ensure uniformity and then the rolls are embossed and/or printed to reproduce the desired textures. It is used in the manufacture of clothing and fashion accessories as a substitute for animal skin.
