Fabric made from food waste

Fabric made from food waste
Material made through a patent-pending food-to-fabric technology that transforms food waste into a fabric that brings the performance of synthetic materials, with the biodegradability of natural fibers. Food scraps are collected, and through fermentation technology are combined with microbes to produce preculsors. Additives are chemically & mechanically added to optimize strength, flexibility and thermal resistance, creating a resin. The resin is finally spun and woven. Workable as a common polyester, it finds use in the manufacture of clothing.
