Description: Polyethylene terephthalate. Thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family obtained by polycondensation of terephthalic acid (TPA) with ethylene glycol (EG). The secondary raw material is mainly obtained from the recycling of processing scraps and production waste (post-industrial) and bottles and flacons from urban waste collection (post-consumer). The PET has excellent recycling possibilities in textiles field and, mixed with virgin polymer, it is used for the production of new transparent detergents containers.
