Cork as an alternative to teak for boats

Cork, a natural, recyclable and circular material, widens its range of applications, attacking a very specific market such as that of boating.
Marinecork, a material from Sace Components, is used as an alternative to teak flooring on board boats.
Available in two thicknesses of 6 and 8 mm, the product is 100% environmentally friendly and marketed with staves and panels. It can also be machined using a pantograph that creates deep grooves on the surface, allowing customization with logos, lettering or drawings.
The flooring has the same characteristics as cork, a material free from thermal expansion and shrinkage, does not absorb water, lightweight, stain-resistant and thermal and acoustic insulation.
